We are incredibly grateful for the invitation from We Can Dream Together Foundation, which has allowed our cultural and creative products to be sold at the “We Can Dream Together Shop.” This opportunity has not only broadened our audience but also provided a significant platform for our service users to showcase their design and production skills. Through this collaboration, the public and tourists alike have come to recognize the talents and abilities of disabled individuals. 

The partnership with the We Can Dream Together Foundation has had a profound impact on our organization. Their generous provision of free space has greatly alleviated our financial pressures. By reducing our operating costs, we are able to channel all proceeds from sales directly into supporting our service users. This support has been instrumental in helping them develop their skills and integrate more fully into society.

Collaborating with the We Can Dream Together Foundation on the Shop initiative has been a transformative experience for our organization. This collaboration enabled members from four rehabilitation homes and our sheltered workshop to showcase their talents to a wider audience. One remarkable example is a member with severe physical limitations who, through this opportunity, became our top salesperson and even helped train others. The initiative not only boosted the confidence and skills of our members but also fostered greater public recognition of their abilities. We are grateful for this platform, which has allowed our members’ creative works to gain appreciation and has significantly contributed to their personal and professional growth.

The Culinary Training Program has significantly improved service quality at Corner of Portuguese Cuisine and Chá de Arco-íris Bubble Tea Shop, enhancing our chefs’ cooking skills and food safety awareness. This training has made our chefs more creative and detail-oriented, enriching our menu and boosting customer satisfaction. The program has also empowered our members, showcasing the potential of individuals with disabilities and fostering community integration.

By helping our members gain professional skills and confidence, the Program has laid the groundwork for their future success. We aim to seek more professional certification opportunities from internationally renowned culinary schools or associations, elevating their professional skills and increasing their competitiveness in the job market.
